Hiya. Welcome back! I thought I'd try a little something different this week. Instead of just 1 or 2 items I'm just going to put up a bunch of pictures of stuff I have for sale and let people start making offers! Could I make more money selling some of this on Ebay? Maybe, but I'd rather sell locally to people at a lower rate than try to figure out shipping rates for heavy items across the country. Also, I get to meet you, shake hands and KNOW that my customers are happy with their purchase (getting cash in hand is also VERY nice). So browse, ask questions and make an offer. Some items I have a suggested price for (I'd LIKE to make at least $5 or so a sale) but EVERYTHING here is negotiable! Of course, I'm ALWAYS OPEN TO TRADES. I love ALL geeky stuff like Graphic Novels, Antique Decor, & Movie Memorabilia. If you have something cool to trade just ask, there's no telling what kind of stuff will strike my fancy Have fun!

Every day I look around my house & think, "Man, I've got LOTS of Weird Stuff. I bet someone else out there might want a little of this. Today's offering is a Brand New, Theater Quality, translucent movie poster for Ghost in the Shell- a very cool Sci-Fi film with Scarlett Johanson. Both sides contain the picture & print (reversed on the backside obviously) This would look really great in a frame or as you see here, hanging in front of a window. There is some very slight water damage near the bottom right edge (blame the UPS guy for leaving the poster tube on my porch in the rain!) but even a 1/8" frame would cover it. Commie leader or Col. Sanders?

Here's a heavy desktop bust that I'm %80 sure is Vladimir Lenin, Granddaddy of the Commies. Of course, if it makes you feel better you can pretend it's Col Sanders Granddaddy of Fried Chicken. Either way this statue is nice. It's about 16" tall weights about 12 pounds, and looks like something Rodan would've sculpted. It's got a tag that I think says "Chesapeake Reproductions on the bottom but I can't find another just like it ANYWHERE online. Class up your Reading Room (aka bathroom) with some art! Make a Communist watch you use the toilet! $25 is a small amount to pay for sophistication!

Melted Music! New uses for old records!
It seems like every time I go the auction I wind up with a box full of Engelbert Humperdinck albums. I DON'T do this on purpose! Usually these albums are mixed in with a few albums I DO want and I get all that Humperdinck as an unexpected extra.
No offense Mr. Humperdinck but you're just not my cup of tea. Maybe it's the cheesy music or the fact that you actually changed your name TO ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK (I mean, who the HELL would do that?!) that turns me off. But what to do with all these albums? My position as a semi-pro Thrifter prohibits me from just throwing the damn things away and my position as music fan keeps me from listening to them. That's why I created some Melted Music! I take all the albums that I don't want to listen to and make cool, functional art out of them!
